Filipino World War II Veterans Parole Program
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited you to participate in a stakeholder teleconference on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the Filipino World War II Veterans Parole Program.
On June 8, 2016, USCIS begun allowing certain Filipino World War II veteran family members who are beneficiaries of approved family-based immigrant visa petitions an opportunity to receive a discretionary grant of parole on a case-by-case basis, so that they may come to the United States as they wait for their immigrant visa to become available.
During the session, USCIS officials provided an overview of the program and answered stakeholder questions.
