Bars to Asylum and Inadmissibility Grounds Related to Terrorist Activity

Membership in certain groups, or activities on their behalf, can make you ineligible for most immigration benefits, including asylum, in the United States.  However, the Secretary of Homeland Security has decided that some individuals may be are exempt from these ineligibility grounds.  Below are several documents that describe these decisions by the Secretary of Homeland Security and the USCIS procedures for handling these types of cases.
