Institute of Museum and Library Services Webinar: How to Avoid and Report Immigration Scams
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited library and museum employees to participate in our How to Avoid and Report Immigration Scams webinar on Thursday, May 9, from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern). USCIS works closely with community-based organizations as well as federal, state, and local agencies to combat immigration scams and the unauthorized practice of immigration law.
Subject matter experts provided an overview of how libraries and museums can avoid and report immigration scams. We concluded with a question-and-answer session.
We presented this webinar as part of the federal partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide citizenship and immigration information to library and museum professionals.
