National Public Engagement Revised Form I-539 and New Form I-539A, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited you to participate in a teleconference on Friday, March 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern to discuss the requirements involved with the revised Form I-539 and Form I-539A, the application for individuals to extend their stay or change their nonimmigrant status. After undergoing public comment and review, the revised form has been finalized and published on March 11.

During the engagement, subject matter experts from USCIS provided information about the revised forms as well as the biometric and filing requirements. The engagement concluded with a question and answer session.
