U.S. Citizenship Can Start at Libraries
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited libraries to participate in a webinar on October 24 from 2-3 p.m. (Eastern) to learn how local libraries can support the path to U.S. citizenship. The USCIS Newark District Office and a librarian from the Piscataway Public Library shared their experiences and best practices from working together to support citizenship in their community.
The webinar was presented as part of the federal partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide citizenship and immigration information to library and museum professionals.
