Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024
2 – 3 p.m. Eastern
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will host a virtual national stakeholder engagement on Thursday, Oct. 31,from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern. During this engagement, we will provide a step-by-step overview of how to use the new PDF intake option in the USCIS online account, highlight several of our other online tools, and answer questions.
On Oct. 8, 2024, USCIS launched a PDF filing option for certain applicants seeking an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) through their USCIS online account. Initially, PDF intake will only be available for individuals filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765), in the a(12), c(8), c(9)*, c(11) and c(19) categories. Eligible applicants will also be able to file a fee waiver request through the PDF intake option. Access to this functionality will be expanded to additional online account users, form types, and Form I-765 categories in a phased approach.
*If you are applying for a (c)(9) Pending Adjustment of Status category of Form I-765 that is fee exempted, do not submit your application through the PDF filing option at this time.
