Eligible to Naturalize Data
USCIS has data on the population of individuals who are eligible to naturalize.
The Eligible to Naturalize Dashboard displays data on the population of lawful permanent residents (LPRs) who may be eligible to naturalize. The data capture country of birth, state, and core-based statistical area (CBSA) and include people who obtained LPR status since fiscal year 2010 and have not filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, to become a U.S. citizen.
The Eligible to Naturalize Factsheets provide more information on the eligible-to-naturalize population in cities and regions throughout the United States. The factsheets provide information on select characteristics of LPRs, also known as Green Card holders, in those areas. Users can search by city or region to find a location-specific factsheet.
The Fact Sheets on Promoting Citizenship were developed to help promote naturalization to individuals with specific circumstances, such as low-income individuals, individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals who frequently travel, individuals age 50 and older, individuals who previously had certain immigration status (asylees, refugees, special immigrant juveniles, or T and U visa holders) and individuals who obtain lawful permanent residence following a grant of Cancellation of Removal or Suspension of Deportation.
