Reminder: SAVE Transaction Charges Increase on Oct. 1, 2024
Effective Oct. 1, 2024, USCIS will implement the second phase of a phased-in transaction charge increase for SAVE verification cases that streamlined billing to a single charge per verification case. This increase is necessary as part of a phased approach through 2028 to more fully recover program costs as required by law and Federal agency guidance.
The federal agency charge will be $2.25 per case in Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 (Oct. 1, 2024 – Sept. 30, 2025). The non-federal agency charge will be $1.50 per case in FY 2025 (Oct. 1, 2024 – Sept. 30, 2025). Information regarding the transaction charge increase as well as the phase-in timeline can be found on the SAVE Transaction Charges webpage.
SAVE will continue charging a monthly minimum service charge of $25 for each month in which a user agency submits at least one verification case.
